Friends of Leon Gallery is a modern art space located in an 1870’s terrace house in Surry Hills, Sydney. The gallery specialises in portraiture, fashion illustration and Pop Art. Owner of the gallery, Leon Krasenstein, is recognised for not only being a art curator but also for his design work in Film, Theatre and Television throughout Australia.
Leon chooses to do showcase only a handful of exhibitions each year, allowing him the time to work closely with his artists and develop strong relationships with them. This truly collaborative experience of connecting with artists at concept stage allows Leon to successfully market the work to the Sydney audience.
The gallery loves to beautifully detail all of their shows from the window design to installations, performances, special music and signature artist cocktails.
